Discover Our Story
About Us
Alice Rabes and Thomas Mastomo met in 2006. At the time, Alice was playing in the trio Alys as composer and performer, while Thomas was working on a personal project entitled ICI ET LUI with his brother Pierre. Their two projects shared stages over the years, and Thomas even played guitar for Alys on several occasions.
In addition to their involvement in musical creation projects, Alice and Thomas also worked together on the Bateaux Parisiens, hosting musical evenings with a varied repertoire.
In 2016, Alice joined the Monsieur Lune team for the young audience shows “Gaston et Lucie” and “Le dernier jour”. Thomas followed in 2018. Their work on children’s shows has strengthened their collaboration and musical creativity.
Finally, in 2022, the Alice Thomas Folkways duo was formed with the aim of sharing their passion for pop folk music with audiences. They began posting videos on YouTube, offering a personal touch to popular covers. Their music is often described as a successful blend of folk, pop and acoustic, with catchy, touching vocals. Their performance is appreciated for its authenticity and ability to connect with the audience, offering a moment of peace in a world on the move.
